Harness Measuring Chart

If ordering an IVC or Smucker brand harness, please submit completed IVC harness chart via email to harness@ivccarriage.com or mail with USPS.  Measurements will NOT be accepted via text or Messenger.

Smucker and IVC Carriage's harness makers build your harness and parts to fit your horse! 

Whole IVC and Smucker harness orders require the IVC chart to be completed.

IF ORDERING AN IDEAL OR ZILCO HARNESS, USE YOUR MEASUREMENTS TO COMPARE WHICH HARNESS SIZE WILL FIT YOUR HORSE.

Many IVC-brand parts require the chart to be completed with the appropriate measurements for what you are ordering, i.e. we don't need measurements from the whole horse if you are just ordering a bridle. 

MEASURE CAREFULLY

Ultimately, the purpose in submitting the measurements of your horse is that major adjustments shouldn’t be necessary if the horse was measured properly.

If a particular IVC-brand part isn't made to the measurements you provided, we will replace that part for free.

If an IVC-brand part was made to the measurements you submitted and doesn't fit the horse you measured, you are welcome to reorder that part for a 10% discount. 

We will not accept custom made harnesses & parts for exchange anymore. We cannot return them to the harness maker.
