IVC Carriage is proud to be the only dealer for Smucker Harness!

Smucker Harness Company is a third-generation family business founded in 1962. They produce the finest hand-crafted carriage horse harness money can buy. All harnesses are produced with vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig. The workmanship of Smucker driving harnesses is well-appreciated in the show ring!  Our personal single horse show harness is a Smucker Super Deluxe harness, and is consistently a Turnout winner and scores high in Presentation! They have also branched into making excellent leather handbags with their sister company, Urban Southern!

All Smucker driving harnesses are available in: Miniature, Small Pony, Medium Pony, Large Pony, Cob, Horse, Oversize, Draft and Large Draft. Custom sizes are also available. On all hame style harnesses, the collars are priced separately. Monograms (ornaments) are also priced separately. We can also order multiples harnesses (pairs, tandems, four-in-hands), and individual Smucker Harness parts.

The completed Measurement Chart is required to place your order with the harness maker. Please submit either via email or USPS. Measurements will NOT be accepted via text or Messenger.

Turnaround time for a complete Smucker harness has been running about 12 weeks. Please plan ahead with your orders and have patience once they have been ordered.
