This Conrad / Square Port style mouthpiece rotates 360 degrees and most closely resembles the UTR (Ultimate Tongue Relief) bit. This bit also features a swinging purchase, also known as a Tulip or Felix cheek in the US.
Good bit to promote straightness in the horse. Reduces poll and tongue pressure.
Boyd Exell recommends this bit for the horse that needs relief when the contact gets strong.

The Happy Tongue Straight is a solid mouth bit which is ported to relieve tongue pressure but is not curved. The swivel mouthpiece can rotate on the horizontal, allowing the cheek piece to move independently, thereby the horse can set where it finds the mouthpiece most comfortable… removing tongue pressure.

The BE Liverpool Swinging Purchase FX reduces the poll pressure by allowing the bridle attachment to move. This can increase the pressure through the curb and some leverage will still be applied to the mouthpiece.
Cheek pressure provides additional emphasis to the lateral aids.
The BE Liverpool Swinging Purchase FX is available with 2 or 3 slots to allow more options for increasing/decreasing pressure. The cheekpiece is fixed.

The 4 available ports have been scaled according to each width. This ensures accurate fitting over the bars and eliminates the rocking movement which occurs when the port is too wide.
