Performance Stall Mats are patent pending and specifically designed for equine comfort and convenience, featuring a construction that combines high-density closed-cell foam with a durable, anti-slip textured vinyl surface. These mats are engineered to be non-porous, ensuring they do not absorb urine or moisture, which is essential for maintaining hygiene in stables.
The sizing options are all suggested based on typical use, but we recognize that you know your animals best and their specific coverage needs. We still recommend using shavings or pellets to effectively absorb urine.
Material Composition: Performance Stall Mats consist of a 1.25-inch thick closed-cell foam bonded to a high-grade textured vinyl surface. This design not only provides comfort but also durability, making them suitable for heavy use in barns and during travel.
Health Benefits: Performance Stalls Mats help reduce fatigue and joint impact for animals, particularly those with arthritis. They provide a softer surface compared to hard flooring, which can alleviate stress on joints and promote better overall health for the animals.
Convenience and Portability: These mats are lightweight and easy to roll up, making them convenient for transport. This feature is particularly beneficial for horse owners who travel frequently, as it allows for easy setup and storage wherever they go.
Safety Features: The anti-slip texture of the vinyl surface enhances safety, reducing the likelihood of slipping, which is crucial for both the animals and handlers.
DAMAGE TO ROLLS
Due to the way the mat is stored, with the foam on the outside protecting the vinyl, use care when transporting and storing the rolls. The mats should be stored away from any potential puncture risk and should be handled cautiously when transporting and around other obstacles. Mats should be stored upright on a smooth, flat surface. Storage bags of all sizes are available on the website.
SET UP, CARE AND HANDLING
Care and Handling Guidelines: Please read all instructions carefully and follow all handling guidelines for proper setup, removal and storage. Please contact your sales representative or Customer Service if you have any questions.
Take care in removing packaging from each roll. Using a sharp object such as a utility knife can damage the mat if it cuts through packaging material. Once the outer packaging has been carefully removed from each roll, the mats should be placed on their side. Unfasten the nylon straps around the mat. Store nylon straps for future use. DO NOT discard. Unroll the mats so that the vinyl side is now facing up. Notice the way the mats are rolled, vinyl side facing in. Once all of the rolls have been rolled out, push them together to form one large mat surface. DO NOT kick the edge of the rolls to position them. Roll the mats back up, vinyl side in. Begin rolling by folding one section over to form a triangle. Make sure to keep the mat tight. Affix nylon straps approximately 18 inches from the edges of the mat. Roll the mat until it is in the middle of the straps.
PERFORMANCE STALL MATS warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship with proper installation and normal use and care for the warranty period stated above. There is no warranty coverage for regular wear and tear. Repair patches available.
