Known as a Liverpool BE RT Pivot 90 from Bombers Bits, in the US we refer to this style of bit as an Arch Liverpool but with a twist. The pivoting mouthpiece has a break in the middle to allow the sides to work independently.
The mouthpiece arches up and pivots in the middle, while the swivel cheeks are a traditional Liverpool cheek with Boyd Exell styling.
Boyd Exell recommends this to allow the horse to be rounder and take more contact.
Key Features:
Traditional cheekpiece that allows for three different rein placements.
Mouthpiece:
The pivoting mouthpiece has a break in the middle to allow the sides to work independently.
Cheekpiece:
The BE Liverpool RT applies both poll pressure and leverage to the mouthpiece. The lower the rein is attached the stronger the leverage and poll pressure will be. Cheek pressure provides additional emphasis to the lateral aids.
The BE Liverpool RT is available with 2 or 3 slots to allow more options for increasing/decreasing pressure. The cheekpiece is not fixed and is able to rotate.
To keep the center joint well-conditioned, we recommend Bit+Wash!
