The Feed Tub comes from K&D’s Thoroughbred racehorse roots. In the Texas and New Mexico barns where the company began, a feed tub was never just holding dinner. It was absorbing nosing, shoving, repeated cleaning, temperature swings and the force of a powerful horse with no respect for replacement cost.
Toolmaker Ken Fomby approached that problem at its stress points. The result is a 28-quart thick, high-impact plastic, all-weather feeding station. It is secured by three U-bolts, with a reinforcing backer plate behind each mounting point to help distribute force through the tub. That gives it the strength working horse people expect from K&D.
